Two Layers of Toggle Control on Cal Connect

We know not every customer wants a tracking page or a text message. VIP clients, fleet accounts, sensitive deals — some customers prefer personal handling. That's why customer-facing features on the Connect plan have two independent layers of control:

Layer 1 — Global toggle. Turn customer SMS and tracking pages on or off for the entire dealership with a single switch in your settings.

Layer 2 — Per-delivery toggle. Even when the feature is enabled globally, each individual delivery has its own switch. Salespeople can leave SMS off for VIP customers and the tracking link off for sensitive deals — all without disrupting the workflow.

No all-or-nothing decisions. Every delivery is treated separately. Your team stays in full control.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Do I have to subscribe to both Cal and Shuttle?
No. They're completely independent products. Subscribe to Cal only, Shuttle only, or both. Each has its own monthly subscription and you can cancel either one at any time without affecting the other.
Is there a setup fee or long-term contract?
No. Your monthly subscription covers everything — onboarding, training, support, and ongoing updates. Cancel anytime with no penalty.
How many users can we have?
Unlimited on both Cal and Shuttle. Add your entire sales team, service department, finance managers, detailers, drivers, and management without any per-seat charges.
Can we upgrade from Cal Core to Cal Connect later?
Yes. Switch tiers at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle and prorate any difference. Your data stays intact.
What about SMS costs on Cal Connect or Shuttle?
SMS messages are included at standard usage levels (covering typical dealership volume). We'll let you know if your store ever approaches a usage threshold. No surprise overage charges.
Do you offer multi-store discounts?
Each dealership is billed individually. If you operate multiple rooftops, contact us about volume pricing for groups — we offer discounts based on the number of stores.
Are taxes included in the prices?
No — listed prices are pre-tax. Applicable sales tax (HST, GST, PST, or QST depending on your province) is added to each invoice based on your dealership's billing address. For Ontario, that's 13% HST. If your dealership is registered for HST, you can claim Input Tax Credits for the tax we collect.
How is my data stored and secured?
Each dealership gets its own private database environment. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share customer data between dealerships. You can export or delete your data at any time.
